I have an intense use case for Ethernet cable that are abused and carried around in a rough way and are put under a lot of strain when in use. The cable I use has the little clips on the connectors broken and I am looking for new ones that are extremely robust, and hopefully hard to break. Please link any good RJ45 terminations.

I haven't used them extensively myself, but I have seen these used somewhere before and they seemed pretty sturdy in the couple seconds a handled them:

There are also rj45 connectors with xlr style shields around them if the specific gear supports that:

They're good if you're frequently connecting to the same pieces of gear over and over (very nice for portable network systems for military use).

Unfortunately pretty much all of them are plastic. You might help increase its lifespan by buying a protective plastic piece which guards the clip from getting caught on things. This will require you to re-terminate the cable.

Sticking shoes on so the plastic clips are less likely the snag might be your best bet.

I also found these, no experience with them though: https://www.adorama.com/pt202035j.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwibDXBRCyARIsAFHp4fpnW-qdyUhE8P81s_ukrOQCddY0s0YMjx0NPv5ZFha7vvcVmIZHmEMaAmltEALw_wcB

There might be something with metal clips out there but I would be concerned about the ports they are plugged into. I have seen plenty of broken rj45 jacks. If the cable gets yanked out the jack itself can break and no longer let an intact cable clip in.
