Ok so a friend has an Alienware Area 51 M Laptop

He wants to take it and upgrade to a decent computer as much as possible. Basically a sleeper PC, kinda

I know that with laptops parts aren't as standardized and able to be switched easily, but this is an Alienware so maybe he has a chance. Does anyone know if and what he can do to update this into the modern age a bit
