Dead drive?

Not Sure what happened to this drive, any fix ?

drive is like 4-5 years old by now.

Drives fail, not much you can do. Get a new drive, restore backups.

If you have backups then you can just restore them to a new drive. If you do not have back up and cannot get data off the drive you will most likely need to get a data recovery service to get your data off if its important enough to warrent the cost of it

I used to do data recovery professionally for many years.

Unless the data is not critcal, you'll need to send the drive to a data recovery specialist.

If you don't care about the data (aka, you have a backup) then PM me, I'll give you some tricks

Sometimes you can get away with replacing the PCB of the HDD. Maybe it can give you enough time to take the data off of it. Maybe.

i'll just get a new drive no big deal . Should probably replace my other drive. Before they also die.
