I've got a USB 3.0 HDD dock. One of those you see on Amazon that permits IDE and SATA. It works perfectly fine, but whenever I put a SSD drive in there, it seems to disconnect during a file transfer operation. Can anyone think of why? I can use it for SATA drives all day long but SSDs disconnect. Of course these SATA drives all work perfectly when I connect them directly to the motherboard.

(For helping you with my PC specs, does anyone know of a program other than Speccy I can use to display and list all my vital specs to post here? I hate the formatting Speccy uses. Just a personal thing.)
