Take out the battery and the CMOS battery and let it sit for 24 hours with zero power. Try powering it on after 24 hours without putting any of the batteries back in.

 

It sounds like the graphics could be bad, if it's integrated, not too bad if you have a socketed CPU. If the CPU is soldered to the motherboard you're gonna have some problems.

 

My laptop also had some problems, the VGA port didn't work, and random shut offs. Cleaning it and reseating all the connections has fixed it.

i checked the store page of ASUS i think it is in fact BGA integrated graphics type deal

well, the cooling solution didn't work, so ill now try your solution, i havent got a cmos button or cmos reset swith, i already treid that solution.., tho, i have got a intergrated grapics card:(, i also took out the ram and ill leave it powered of for 24 hours, maybe itll work so...

ok, so i have put everything back together and ive got good and bad news...

first the good news, i can now turn on and off the laptop again and its charging, and then the bad news, fan is not rotating, no display given in on the main display or second display connected over hdmi either...
