Logitech g502 problems

So I have a logitech G502 proteus core and im trying to set up a macro on logitechgaming software (newest version, already un/reinstalled) and every time i try to set a macro to my back button it says

"At least one button has to be assigned to left click. please assign left click to another button first."

Even though i have my left click as my left click, and it wont let me set any macros now that its started saying this. I heavily use mouse binds, and its worked ever since i got the mouse for the past 1 or 2 years until today.

This has really screwed me over because now im down a button that i use in EVERY SINGLE GAME that i own. 

I would really appreciate some help here guys.

I even said in the post that I've done that. Twice as of now because i was hoping when i posted this that i could do it again and fix it maybe but its still doing it

Have you tried reseting all the mouse binds in the software? There should be a reset button somewhere.

I didnt know there was but i did delete verything, its all fresh nothing custom.

Well remake your keybinds and see if it works.
