That doesn't look inverted to me, if anything it looks like chrome is using the system-wide colour scheme for fedora 27.

If it looks inverted on your display, try taking a photo of your screen instead, since the screenshot looks perfectly reasonable here.

If it matches the system setting, then it's likely that you need to change the system theme back to something else.

I agree with Tabs. For better clarification, try opening an image in an image viewer. If the image is displayed incorrectly, there is possibly an issue.

Also try creating a live install of a different distro (like a debian live) and see if they have the same issues (you don't have to install them after all).

Even with how crummy Nvidia drivers are for Linux, I've never heard of them being bad in that way. Usually they are bad because they are prone to not working outright. Seldom if ever have I seen them be anywhere between working 100% perfectly and not working at all.

I know that i am using a dark theme but if you look at the debian logo in this photo it is inverted and this is only in x applications not wayland ones

Hmm that is strange, I just noticed that the amazon logo also has the wrong colours as well. I don't know what causes this issue, but it might be worth posting on /r/linuxquestions or /r/linux4noobs (even if you're not a noob at Linux)

You'll find a greater wealth of people with knowledge of possible causes there.

I presume you are using XWayland? Is it possible to boot into an x-only or wayland-only session and see how they perform?
