I have a few games on Uplay, all of them works on my laptop (Lenovo Y50-70, i7 4720HQ, GTX960M).
Recently i built a desktop (R5 1600, GTX1080) but almost every game i install from Uplay crash at startup. I can see the first frame of the splash screen and then '*game*.exe has stopped working'.
Contacted Ubisoft, they decided that my monitor (2560x1080, 75Hz) is at fault. Assuming i'm not gonna throw away a brand new monitor just because Ubisoft can't code for sh*t - is there any hope?
Tried every suggestion they had - verifying files, moving the launcher and the games to the same drive, reinstall Nvidia Drivers, setting my screen to 1920x1080 60Hz. Nothing helped.
The only game that works is The Crew - but that's probably because it is capped at 60fps. Assassin's creed 3 and 4, FarCry 3 and Blood Dragon, Watch Dogs - all of them crash at startup.

Any ideas beside never buy a Ubisoft game ever again?
