OTG audio OnePlus5 issue

Guys I need your help, I'm trying to connect my snowball mic to my one plus 5 non root with an OTG.

 

I can't get the mic to power up, I have tried some OTG software from the appstore and tried to play around with the USB settings to no succes. 

 

Need to get it to work so I can shoot video.

well, i seem to remember Android OTG can only push somewhere around of 500mA to a connected device. maybe the snowball needs more? i tried googling this but i couldn't find that info. :S
