Cpu Heat

Go to solution Solved by Yakusoku,

I had it with two fans blowing into the rad and pulling out from the other side. Seems the one pulling died or isn't working as well anymore, removed it and moved the working fan to pull out air from the rad replacing the dead fan.

Back to nice 50C on idle despite only have one fan on it ;D

3 years and still going strong! H60 Corsair really doing me well over the years.

Just noticed it booting up the system today.

Its hitting 70C with nothing running. (Task Manager doesn't seem to show any suspicious activity) It spikes to 85-99 with just Firefox on.

This is surely not normal. Is my AIO dying or is there something else that's causing this.

Thanks!

Maybe your AIO pump is dead.

Also check if your AIO is even making contact with the CPU IHS.

I would not consider 50C a nice idle temp considering i hit a max of 60C under load (i7 4790k). Seems normal for a H60 though, i had one for 3 years aswell, wasn`t too happy. Gaming temps spiked into the 80`s. Much happier with the Mugen 5 now.
