My girl is looking for a fairly good general use laptop for under $300 Cad .

Does anyone know where I can get the best value for money?

New or Refurb windows laptop.

Over 4 GB of RAM, AMD or Intel is fine.

In lower BC Canada.

we would need to know what the intended use of said laptop would be to recommend one.

you have a pref of intel or AMD?

you would want a min of 4GB ram but higher is better as it is shared with the GPU and a nvidia or amd rated card in it for best performance

Used/refurbished would definitely be your best bet, you won't get anything that's not some crappy Celeron/Pentium, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage machine for under 300 CAD brand new.

 

I'd look for a Thinkpad.
