Windows and Product Key

After I built my rig and set up I'll be downloading windows 10 and I don't want to spend any more money after that to buy a product key... soooo what will happen in 30 days that I haven't gave a product key? Will windows 10 just leave a water mark on the bottom right corner that I can easily erase or will windows 10 be gone completely from my PC? tired af and i'm sorry for the bad grammar
