So I have 2 16gb sticks of corsair vengeance red led ddr4 that has worked great for over a year now. I always keep task manager opened on my second screen along with a few other things and I noticed the other day that it was only showing 24gb. I restarted my pc and still only showed 24gb. I took both sticks out and waited a good thirty minutes then put them back in the same slots and bam 32gb shows up like normal. then boom blue screen, and it blue screened a few times in a row. once it stopped and was working for a while I open task manager and sure enough its back to showing 24gb. Anyone have anything similar happen to them or have any ideas? When I have time I will test each stick individually for the problem and other ram slots as well.
