problems with HDMI

i just bought new monitor but it doesnt have hdmi input, so im using HDMI (from my GTX 1050 ti)  to VGA adapter but that adapter is carrying audio along hdm and my speakers are repairing so im using 400w amplifier and speakers so when im using them at night bass is too loud and i cant adjust bass levels because my audio doesnt come from  realtek sound card but from hdmi to vga adapter like in picture, can someone help Image result for hdmi to vga adapter

So your problem is that audio is coming out of HDMI rather than onboard ports?

 

If that's the case, go into the Control Panel on Windows and disable your audio through HDMI.

You can also right click on the audio device in the sound settings section and disable it from there.
