bios update probably needed but just to be sure remove all RAM but 1 stick and place that one in slot 1A. I heard there is a issue with RAM on some boards and this tends to work for it. Also unplug Harddrive and peripherals to eliminate those as a source

-Moved to Troubleshooting-

Locate your BIOS chip on your motherboard. It's a small gray square chip located above the PCIe x1 slot. If the number stamped on top of the BIOS chip says "P3.0", you need to order a BIOS flashing kit from AMD.

The board firmware may not be updated to support the Raven Ridge APU you have. Do you have any original Ryzen cpu's to test on the board? I'm unsure if your board supports updating of the firmware without a compatible cpu, but if it does, you can try to do that.

It says p3.30. Is that good?

No, to support the 2400G it needs to be at least P4.40.

Go here to download the updated BIOS: https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/AB350 Pro4/index.us.asp#BIOS

Order the BIOS flashing kit from AMD here: https://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/2Gen-Ryzen-AM4-System-Bootup.aspx

Btw can i flash the bios without the cpu?

No, but AMD will send you one for free that you can use to flash the BIOS. You do have to send it back to them though.

Ok guys, i've waited almost 3 weeks to get all the parts and now i have to wait for amd to send me an email just to wait for them to get more information from me so they can send me a cpu which i probably have to wait for another week or so. I am honestly not liking the idea, all i want to know if there is anyone that know any computer shop in fort mcmurry that can help update my bios or if there is another way to do it myself. Sorry if i sound inpatient but this is my first time build and its actually not a freaking potato
