I have a pretty crappy oem psu that runs my i5 3.3 ghz and a gtx 1050 ti Low Profile (Gets all the Power from the mbo).

I have many things plugged into the same outlet (really powerfull 5.1 speaker system, tv, fan, etc.).

I’ve noticed that whenever I plug something in or  out/ turn something on or off (in the mains not the usb power from the pc). My pc gets a blue screen. I think this started happening when I got the gpu.

Is the psu getting overloaded? Do I need to buy a new one? It seems sensitive to small voltage spikes.

note: the mbo is non standard and does not use a 24 pin connector
