I recently bought a B250 mining Expert, 2x 4 gig 2400MHz Patriot ram, Seasonic 1000w 80+ Titanium PSU, and a i5-8400 LGA1151. After plugging every thing in / testing all the connections. I cant get the motherboard to so much as turn on the psu. I thought it might be the psu. I moved an obnoxious 700 watt led psu over and nothing, Then moved my gaming pc's 850 watt 80+ titanium over and still absolutely nothing.  I dismantled the mother board all the way down to the cpu, checked that there was no bent pins, reset the bios and still nothing. So i got a replacement Mother board. Another B250 mining expert.  Same as the first.  I tried to only use on stick of ram, switched them out a few times, and still nothing. I am out of ideas

8th gen CPUs only work with 300 series chipset. Your mobo can only use 6th gen and 7th gen CPUs.
