Hey guys, please move this topic to the appropriate area, but I figured this topic should do fine.

I have built myself a huge desk, and I'm an electrician. That being said, I have plugs and switches located built into the desk to control lighting etc, as well as some USB pass-thru's that terminate in a USB port built into the desk. I accomplish this by running USB 3.0 cables from a USB 3.0 add-a-few-ports card (or whatever its called) to the remotely located USB 3.0 location using Keystone Jacks.

I would like to optimize this system, as it is quite 'clunky'. I am looking for something that can connect directly to a USB 3.0 Header on a mobo that has 2 or 4 Male USB 3.0 connectors on it so that I can run it directly to the keystones installed in my desk. Searching amazon and random chinese websites for hours has yeilded no results.

I am not interested in just using a USB desktop splitter of any sort, all of my other electrical devices are built into the desk and I would like to keep it like this :)

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Just wanted to drop in and say this sounds like a cool setup, wouldn't mind seeing pics of the desk either.

Damn, wonder why I could never find that!

Should be able to work with the USB keystones, maybe i'll have to shave off those mounting screws.

Thanks!
