Breadboard not working

I just bought the:

 

Motherboard: Asrock x370 killer sli

Cpu: AMD Ryzen 1700

RAM: GSkill Trident 16gb (x2 8 sticks)

 

I'm currently breadboarding it, the mobo pulses red, no beeps, CPU fan not spinning and this is without any RAM.

I know the speaker works because I breadboarded my old parts to test it.

 

It's not the PSU, it's also new.

 

I have no idea what the issue is, the mobo box arrived slightly damaged.

It is funny, this is why you test hardware before building it inside a case (I aways skip this step :p) 

Honestly everything seems fine though. Make sure the RAM is in the right slot (check your motherboard guide to see if it is seated in port 1A)

Isolate the motherboard with a piece of cardboard on the bottom and try again?  unless something is DOA I see no reason for your setup not to work.

The picture shows the RAM in slot B1, what happens if you move it to the slot closest to the CPU (Slot A1)?

I've tried all the slots with different sticks. I've tried it without ram hoping for error beeps but still nothing.

 

I tested the PSU on an old mobo/CPU and it worked fine.

What about removing the GPU?

Any beeps or anything then? I know it won't fully post but it should do something.

I've tried, with/without GPU, with/without ram. No change.
