I have a very niche use case - coaching. I want to be able to record and show my players real time - then be able to use some form of light video editor (or I can use my subscription of Adobe CC) to cut clips, slow motion, color correction, texts, arrows, etc. to post up on our social media accounts - all out on the field.

I've been using an older ipad which is fine - but would like a larger and brighter screen (without going ipad pro) with a good enough rear facing camera.

Yes I can carry my GH5 or even my lumix point and shoot and connect it up to my laptop - but that defeats the quick immediate live feedback for my players (as well as I can't easily move around the field)

I'm willing to go ipad pro if need be... but also would like other options, Huawei's windows tablet pc would be perfect if it had a rear facing camera, a lot of tablet PC's rear facing camera just are not good enough (or if you know of some please post), and the only major option i see are the Surface book and the Surface pro... What are my other options?

I was going to recommend Surface products but from what I heard, they have reliability issues.

Yeah just listed that as an alt to Surface Pro since it offers quad core plus accessories are included and Dell always has sales

I don't know that there is a Tablet 2-1 with great battery anyways, kind of the compromise you make going with this form factor

thanks to all - ended up going with a 2017 surface pro - got stuck between that and a surfacebook - but the surfacebook is so close but not where I want it to be (for the cost) - hopefully next gen surfacebook will convince me otherwise!!
