Computer won't post?

7700K, Enermax ETST40, Gigabyte Z270XP-SLI, 4*8GB G.Skill Aegis, 1TB Samsung 850 Evo, Gigabyte GTX 1060 3GB - Not posting - not even doing anything. Halp plz?

CPU: Core i9 12900K || CPU COOLER : Corsair H100i Pro XT || MOBO : ASUS Prime Z690 PLUS D4 || GPU: PowerColor RX 6800XT Red Dragon || RAM: 4x8GB Corsair Vengeance (3200) || SSDs: Samsung 970 Evo 250GB (Boot), Crucial P2 1TB, Crucial MX500 1TB (x2), Samsung 850 EVO 1TB || PSU: Corsair RM850 || CASE: Fractal Design Meshify C Mini || MONITOR: Acer Predator X34A (1440p 100hz), HP 27yh (1080p 60hz) || KEYBOARD: GameSir GK300 || MOUSE: Logitech G502 Hero || AUDIO: Bose QC35 II || CASE FANS : 2x Corsair ML140, 1x BeQuiet SilentWings 3 120 ||

Check power connections, clear the CMOS, remove the GPU and plug directly into the HDMI on the back of the board. See if it'll post with the bare minimums.

Check ram, cable connections and powerswitch cables. 

Unsure what power supply to pick?

@BlueChinchillaEatingDorito Shorting the pins with a screwdriver did nothing, and I don't think I fully explained. There is NOTHING happening. No lights on the board, fans don't start to spin. NOTHING. PSU is working and on.

It might either be the PSU not connected correctly, and not delivering power properly, or the mobo and/or cpu is dead.

Well I got the CPU new from Microcenter 2 hours ago and the motherboard was clearance/open box, but it was confirmed working on January 18 2018.

I got the CPU new in box from MicroCenter 2 hours ago and the motherboard was open-box but confirmed working as of 18 January (I got it same time as the 7700k)

how do you know? have you jump started the psu without plugging it into the MB to ensure that the fan does spin and is working?

I had it in another system yesterday, turned out the board in that one was a brick.
