3 monitors setup

I think he means that they would act as one monitor, not 3 separate monitors that are extended (the difference between playing a full screen game on one of the 3 monitors versus spanning the game across the 3 monitors). For this, it would be eyefinity for AMD graphics, and surround for Nvidia graphics. Not too sure about integrated graphics.

Yeah, you just hook all of them up to your grahpics card, and then press windows+p and select extend. Then you're good to go!

aslong as your system supports 3 monitors, it should be pretty much plug and play.

A graphics card with 3 outputs for example would work fine. 

 

you can also get display port hubs which will allow you to use multiple monitors on a single Display port, but im not sure of any restrictions around that.

Depends on the card, need actual info though.
