Format it. Which windows should ask you to when you try to install it on the SSD.

You can change that in your BIOS where you can select your boot order.

What he said. Additionally, you could disconnect your old HDD to avoid wiping it by accident or booting off of it before you're done installing Windows.

Does you mum know you're here?

Installing windows on the SSD will delete everything on it so that should be easy.

To install windows you will need to either create a DVD or a USB stick with this program
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Once your done, turn off your computer and install the SSD. I would also unplug your hard drive just to make the install a little simpler.
turn on the computer and enter into the bios boot off the USB stick or DVD drive and follow the instructions on installing windows.

Once your all installed, and installed the drivers and such you can plug your hard drive back in and you should be good to go. (You may need to go back into the BIOS and change the boot order back to the SSD depending if the hard drive takes priority)

im gonna wipe that aswell

I would still disconnect it. Especially if this is your only computer. You may need to boot back into your old OS and download a driver or something.

Get the SSD OS fully functional first then plug the drive back in and wipe it.

This would also give you a easy way to transfer files to the SSD before you wipe it.
