PC Upgrading Help

So i have a really bad PC (specs below) and i want to upgrade it so i can mainly play Fortnite.Right now i have the lowest possible graphic settings and i barely hit 30 fps and it drops every few seconds.I don't know if i should replace literally everything or just some parts.

 

Specs for my trash PC:

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

GPU: AMD Radeon R5 200 series

CPU: AMD APU A4-6300 3.70 GHz Dual Core

RAM: 4GB DDR3 1866 MHz

Motherboard: GA-F2A68HM-S1 which supports sockets FM2+/FM2

Power Supply: MS-500 (500W)

 

I was thinking of buying an RX 550 but then i have to buy a better CPU because then i will have a bottleneck but I don't know if there are any decent CPU's for FM2+ and FM2 sockets,and I'm really confused so that's why I'm asking for help.

Yeah you're just better off building a new PC mate, that's the hard truth

I suggest that you save up as @Od1sseas said. A PC like that may not be enough to run the newest of games but it may come handy later down in the line. You can repurpose it as a plex server or even build youself a powerfull pf sense router.

If your budget is tight, then look at first generation Ryzen 5 for deals. If you're in the US for example, right now you can pick up a motherboard and R 5 1600 for just over $200 total and that may well come down even more in price over the next couple of months.

No use of upgrading in such an ancient platform..

 

I suggest u to get an old used optiplex with an i7 3rd or 4th gen fr about $200.....ND slap in a gt 1030.or some used GPU like GTX 770/780/780ti

I purchased a GTX 780 last week fr about $95

 

Or else save a little bit more....be build urself a decent gaming PC.
