Hi, I'm trying to connect my 2TB external hard drive to my router via its USB port so I can access it over my network 24/7. To do this I'm using SAMBA and my router is detecting the drive no problems and also DMS works so I know there's no issue with the drive, however none of my devices can see the drive in the network section of file explorer. I tried looking online and from what I can understand Windows 10 removed support for SAMBA by default but there's a way to enable/get it back, please could someone explain how I would do this?

Thanks.

Windows removed SMBv1 but not SMBv2 or v3 support.

What happens if you navigate to the IP address in file explorer like this:

\\192.168.x.x

Replacing x.x with the address of the router?
