PC building traditions or general things you do!

Stand on one leg while I whistle the theme tune to Dukes of Hazard while wearing my Daisy Dukes. Not sure why.

Nothing to see here - move along.

1. Leave the side panel open while testing.

2. Always saying: "hm I should have done an external test :l "

3. Panicking because the computer won't start. Then realise that you haven't plugged in the power button. Then panic more because it still won't start. And then realise that you I didn't turn the psu on yet.

Check all the cables to make sure that nothing will hit the fans and make sure that everything is connected before I turn it on. Always do a out of the box test to make sure it works before you put it in the case (didn't do that because I wanted my rig up and running quickly) :D. Also left the side panel open to see if the fans are spinning properly and make sure that my system works before I close it.

Keep another device (preferably another pc)close by so that if something goes wrong you can look up a fix.
