Gtx 1060 low fps

Hi guys,

I recently bought a used GTX 1060 super Jetstream, and since I have added it to my system I am getting 1fps in all the games I play, could it be a fake or is there something wrong that I can fix,

Is your monitor plugged into your motherboard or graphics card?

Does it feel like 1fps or is that just what the fps counter says? Have you installed Nvidia drivers and are you running of your integrated graphics? What's the specs on your computer?
