Hello, how much gb space needs my usb-stick to be able to have the windows 10 install tool on it?

You are right, just looked at it again and it recommends 8GB now.  I know when I first installed windows I used a 4GB drive, the installation files took up about 3.6GB.

 

I see now that they recommend 8GB.

I didn't remember for sure when I made that reply. And forgot whole thing. I was going to check what my installer USB looks like. Win10 takes 4.33Gb of it.

Is that the original Win10 files or with the creator update included?

Its made late-2017, so with Creators.

Looks like win10 grew over time.  My 'semi-original' win10, like I mentioned above would fit on a 4GB stick, and the first media creation tool only asked for a 3GB stick!

Thats a huge difference in such a small storage.
