The 1060 3G has some downsides beyond its halving of the memory.  I would go with the r5 1600 and the 1060 6GB.

Yeah I know it's cuda cores are reduced. Once I buy this I'm not going to change it until next 6-7 years thats why I'm thinking.

I'm planning to buy a parts in may, I'm going with amd as I compile android so I need more cores. Even though there is 2nd gen launch around the corner (I'll wait until the release though if the extra money is worth. Then I'll simply substitute the cpu with it successor) the prices will be higher. I'm planning to get into gaming and currently I'm having i3 3220 and GT 610 LOL so even 2200g is an upgrade for me. I'll change my case just for my I added it. I need an eye protection monitor as my father wouldn't buy pc without it.

Here are my 2 builds

or

The thing is should I go for r7 1700 with gtx 1060 3g or r5 1600 with gtx 1060 6gb. I'm thinking both might perform similar as the cpu side of r7 1700 should cover some frames. I'm having ssd in my laptop I'll use it

I'd rather lose 2 physical cores on the CPU than lose the GPU memory and processing.  Besides, the 1600 will give you a higher base clock and boost clock than the 1700.

Alternatively, wait until Ryzen 2 drops for retail very soon, and see if the 1700 and earlier chipset boards drop in price.  You may want to just do Ryzen 2 as well...reports seem to indicate they're priced reasonably.
