Hello people! I'm completely new to PC tech, so I thought this was the best place to get help. I bought a PC back in december 2016 these are the stats. GPU: asus gtx 1070 strix, CPU: i7 6700k with a noctua nh-d15 cooler, Case: fractal design define S (tell me if you need more info). I just started up far cry 3 (yes, 3) and my temps on my GPU was at 82 Celsius. Which worried me since my friend got the exact same PC, bought at the same time aswell. He never gets 70+ Celsius. My room temperature is always cold ~15 Celsius. I just dusted it off, so it's totally clean. Should I be worried? And can I do anything to lower the temperature of my GPU?

I wouldn't worry unless your card was going up to 90c.

If you're that worried, I would say download MSI Afterburner and use that to set a custom fan curve.

I'd recommend using a software like MSI Afterburner and creating a custom GPU fan profile to keep it cool.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.
