Fortnite Directx trouble

So I decided to hop on fortnite pc today and having no previous trouble accessing fortnite even after the latest update a couple days ago it says says that I need directx 11. So search on the internet for trouble shooting and a site tells me to go to the directx diagnostic tool to see what directx I’m in which is 12. I go through the options their and in the display section in the notes area it says “There is a problem with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 device. For more information, search for graphics device driver error code 52”. I don’t know if this is the wrong place to post something like this but I really need help.

Try reinstalling the gpu driver and dx.
