So I plan to upgrade my system. Currently is a AMD FX 6350 with a Nitro Sapphire R7 370, 16gb DDR3 corsair vengeance RAM. I want to goto a Ryzen 5 1600 with 16gb DDR4 corsair rgb ram, and a RX 580. I used a bottleneck calculator and it said a 580 was too little for it. So is the bottleneck of this too much to get or are there any cards at the $300 mark(i know its limited because of the spiking prices) that wouldn't bottleneck it that much?

That's not exactly how bottlenecks work...

It won't bottleneck.

a gtx 1060 costs 249 if you can find one that is listed for the msrp and it would work great, i currently have a  gtx 970 in my pc with the amd ryzen 5 1600 and the 1060 is not much better performance wise than my 970, unless you want a big upgrade then i suggest going for a 1060 or 970, but if you want something a little beefier and can spend a little bit over what your budget is i would get a 1070

Personally I'd go for an ASUS RX 580 8GB or an ASUS GTX 1060 6GB, depending on price and availability, but I do believe for your budget and performance either card are the best value you can get.

ASUS has terrible customer service, but some others are worse

I don't know what you used, but the RX 580 is about the same as a GTX 1070, which is just fine for an R5 1600

No, a 1070 is the equivalent of the Vega 56

970 = GTX 1060 3GB = quite a bit less than the GTX 1060 6GB/RX 580.

I thought that was in between a 1070 and a 1080, and it's why the 1070 ti was released?

Well yes, but they don't offer a 1070 equivalent, the closest thing is a Vega 56/Fury X

Do you know if this site is legitimate? http://thebottlenecker.com/ this is the one  that i used but i figured a 580 would be fine. i might have gone with a 1060 assuming they were reasonable but i still see them in the 400's(i know some are in range but i mean non used and from reputable shippers). I'd rather hit the 250-350 range if i can.

Not in my experience... direct, to the point, replaced in less than a week...

They even replaced my GPU when I broke the fans without charging me (even if it was physical damage)

I've heard from friends along the line of:

"RMAed mobo

they broke pins off

blamed me

wouldn't RMA it

made me pay shipping without even fixing it"

You can't really get rid of bottlenecks, ever.
