Laptop for Development

Hi,

 

I am a developer and I do most of my work out on the road (I travel up to 20 days a month).  I currently have a MacBook pro 2012 but it struggles when I'm running developer stacks (lamp or containers) locally.  I develop for both the web and for iOS so need to be able to at Least VM mac OS.

 

Does anyone know of a good quality hi core count (6-10) laptop of good build quality and portability ??

 

Ideally I would also like to run Qubes OS on it.

ThinkPad P52 (coming soon with coffee lake H, P51 / P50 is quad core)

138 is a good number.
