Hi There! I run a Coolpad Canvas, and I often use my phone for music, browsing and games. Recently I've been experiencing weird behavior on my device, including apps opening randomly (Google Slides is the only example), and apps that 'stop responding' even when I haven't launched them or used them in a while, specifically Instagram and FreeMyApps. FreeMyApps is an app that allows you to play games to redeem gift cards. All of these strange things started happening after I installed it.

Summary of Issues (In order of occurrence):
"Instagram has stopped working" may appear onscreen with the appropriate dialogs, sometimes "FreeMyApps has stopped working" will appear afterwards.

"Unfortunately, Google Play Services has stopped". Sometimes appears in correlation with the above issue, but mostly seems to be related to RAM (like Discord filling up my notifications)

Google Slides will open, but won't load properly. Only happened once so far.

Have you tried deleting the app? Or if you use Firefox or some other web browser sometimes apks get downloaded(in secret) and slow your device down. It's happened to me, but it gave me ads on my phone.

Phones and their respective OS's are not designed to be troubleshooting friendly like desktop OS's where you can easily check logs. Start by factory restoring the phone and  ensuring the latest manufacturer updates have been installed, either via OTA updates, or via the manufacturer website. If the phone still has apps that randomly stop working after a factory install, then either the hardware is failing, or your manufacturer needs to push out a software update to fix it, which probably won't happen because most Android devices receive 1 or 2 updates max in their lifetime before abandonment.
