I need a little help with installin mac on a laptop. I know about rules on this forum. And before i post my problem i want to ask this question here. I do not know other place where i can ask this question.

"Talking about piracy in general, broad details, is acceptable however the posting or discussing pirated/hacked/cracked or otherwise nefariously obtained content is not. This includes Windows content, games, hackintosh, etc. Also discussions regarding ways to avoid or block legitimately installed monitoring/tracking software or the like is also not allowed."

But, Technically hardware that macs are using is not apples. All of it's components are made by other companies right? So why is it apples? because apple paid for it right? But when i purchased it all the hardware that computer includes became mine. So if i take software (which is free for you, if you have purchased mac computer, which i have done) from one of my computer and set it up on my other computer why is this not allowed here on this forum? IMHO this is not a piracy. Software is free for me because i have purchased a mac. If it's illegal to install macOS on nonapples hardware then technically my mac uses nonapples hardware. It's mine legally and it was made by other companies! Only software is apples.

Computer users fall into two groups:
those that do backups
those that have never had a hard drive fail.

Hackintosh itself isn't illegal but it's a very grey area that LTT doesn't want to deal with since Apple could decide to send lawyers and whatnot at them. Additionally the hardware is certified to work with MacOS, that's what makes it Apple hardware, not because it was made by them.

The software is free and provided to you so long as you follow the terms and conditions set out by Apple and use it on hardware certified by them, by breaking those terms then you're voiding the validity of the software.

Now it's all clear. Sorry then. I can't close/detele my thread. I ask admins to close/delete it.
