I'm looking for a cheap-ish (maybe a few hundred dollars) FreeNAS Build.

Rules:

1. Parts must be from well-known sites (Amazon, etc...)

2. You must have a Case and PSU

3. The price of drives is not mandatory

4. Must use DDR3 or DDR4 RAM.

5. Must support a minimum of 5 drives

6. Must run FreeNAS

7. You do not need a screen.

8. If you want to include drives, you can include drives from 1-3TB.

Thanks for helping me out! :) (PCPartPicker Builds are Helpful ;) )

Budget?

Use case?

How much does power matter?

Does noise matter?

Id get a c2100 on ebay. 12 bay, cheap registered ddr3 and relativity low power.

I'll check out the ebay thing...

Budget: Somewhere in like $300 to 400-ish range (without monitor and potentially drives)

Case: I don't really mind, as long as it has enough drive bays

Power: Again, I don't really mind...
Noise: I don't care at all as long as it doesn't sound like a bloody plane is going over my house (it'll be sitting in a room in my basement, which is unfinished, so noise isn't really a problem.
