Hey guys. I'm looking for a new build under 60k INR. I already have a 750 TI with me, so no GPU needed. I'm upgrading from a i3 530 2.93 ghz (no over clocks as motherboard won't allow). The i7 8700 looked like a sweet deal to me as I looked in the Newegg India site. Please suggest a good build. I'm mostly gonna use it for gaming and some YouTube video creation but it's main job is to game. I've attached a pic of the build. Let me know how is it. BTW ThanksScreenshot_20180406-153035.thumb.png.447d3d98e504c7eb41d6e440d22c4a93.png

eh, i'm not sure why you're getting an expensive Z370 board and 8700k when all you have is a 750ti, unless you plan on upgrading it soon. i'd recommend an asrock pro4/prime plus and ryzen 1600 instead, and use the money for a better gpu. also, get a 240gb MX500/ultra 3d instead of a corsair MP500.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

Thanks for the SSD change. I waiting for the mining buzz to fade out because man! GPU prices are skyrocketing now. If the 1060 becomes like 20k, then I'll change it.

I mean, everything else is kinda hilariously overclasses the 750ti XD. Does it play the games you want so far? If not, cut down around the rest of the build and make room for a new GPU.

It plays GTA V at very high shadows at high(900p) because of the vram limit. So the 750 TI is enough for a few months. I wanted to upgrade my current rig because I think the i3 is kinda bottlenecking my 750 TI as the CPU hovers around 90% when I play games while the GPU wavers from 50% to 85% not reaching 99% as it's supposed to.

the mining craze is starting to die down, it's gotten to the point where it's not worth mining anymore in some countries.

Yeah, just go for something like a R5 1600 or something then and save money for a new gpu.

Yeah agree they sell for like 30k now and even without the mining situation they are shit overpriced in India

It is highly doubtful that prices will drop anytime soon and in India they might take a longer time. So, I suggest saving up your money right now for a better build.

I think you could get a Ryzen 5 1600 instead of a 8700K and even a decent B series motherboard for 7k might cut it. You could probably cut back on the cooler too. And the Corsair VS series might save you little on Amazon.

Also I think I saw a bunch of M.2 SSDs from HP on Amazon for pretty cheap. Just check it out. If you don't need the speeds of an M.2 then try the Kingston UV 400 Now SATA 2.5 inch SSD on Amazon. You can almost double your storage for the same price.

If you have crazy 144Hz monitor and need 144fps+- want to play games like CS:GO, Intel i7 would be your choice because you get more FPS. But if you have 60Hz Monitor you and want to play games in 60fps+- you can go with Ryzen 5, this month Ryzen 2nd genaration launches, you will be able to buy Asus Strix X470 Motherboard and Ryzen 5 under 350$ not 550$. Just make sure to check your ram compatibility with motherboard. which you can find at ASUS. But if you stick with LPX you should be good to go.

Yeah I also saw the r5 1600. But will it be future proof for at least another 4-5 years? Or shall I go for the r7 1700?

Thanks bro. Any suggestions on the GPU?
