I have 2 500gb HHD in my desktop but can i set them in raid 1?

All my files are at one of these drives, Is there a way to setup a raid 1 without losing all my files by formating those drives?

Or can i set them is raid withoud any issues?

Is there a software to setup raid 1 in windows or is that only possible in bios?

There is a feature in Windows 10 for setting up RAID called Storage Spaces, if you start typing the name out, it should pop up a box with "Manage storage spaces". It will erase your data though, so make sure it's all backed up. One of the more common solutions is to save anything you want to keep on an external USB drive, set up the RAID, then move the data back onto the RAID from the external afterwards.
