Need help! Laptop for gaming and programing

Maybe a slightly different way to look at the problem: depending on your budget I would look into making yourself a kick butt desktop for the dorm room. You can get a lot more oomph for the money. Then get your self a decent Windows laptop, or you could even get a cheaper Chromebook for taking to class. Chromebooks can also use "Chrome Remote Desktop" if you needed to work on your beefy desktop from campus. This way you can get the best of both worlds!

 

Hi everybody, Im studying system engineer and I start to need a computer for programing in diferents languages, and have to last me for at least 3 more years, and its has to been for gaming. So... whitch laptop can be the best decision for me?? (Sorry for my english) thanks for your help!!

Wait for mobile workstations to be refreshed with CFL-H CPUs - Thinkpad P72, HP Zbook 17 G5, Dell Precision 7730 etc (I just guess their names from the current models)
