Restarted after installing second hard drive

I had a wd blue laying around from my old computer.It was 320GB so i installed it into my computer.After booting it worked then after 45 minutes with skype running it randomly changed to a black screen and rebooted.It booted again and i shut it off.What caused the restart?

Depends, look at system logs.

Ok, if this anomaly only happens when you plug in the drive then sounds like a bad drive.
