Screen Resolution Question.

Hello there last week i bought myself a nice new monitor for a high amount but hey that is the price you pay but now i'm having a small problem when ever i enter a game i place the Screen Resolution from 3840 x 2160 to 1920 x 1080 just since i do not see the point it having it at the max Resolution when most of the time it makes the UI on some games mess up but after doing this the mouse does not match with the menu and other things so here is my question Do i need to change the Display Settings to 1920 x 1080 to have everything work right when ever i start playing a game or can i some how fix this with out doing so?

The mouse not matching up to the menus is because of the change in resolution. Your monitor is running at the max resolution while the game is forced to being smaller.

 

Is there a reason other than the UI that makes you run it at a lower resolution? It's generally best to keep max res as that is what your monitor wants to do.
