I am in a similar situation, and I will wait for new GPU's But I am already in the mindset of expending 1000 usd on a GPU *sigh*. But I am doing it for the sake of a more lasting PC.

Yea I just bought 1 too but the 1080 tis are still beefy as hell

Any of you know when the new series of Nvidia cards are coming out?

I am finding out it should be this summer the GTX 2080 it would be called?

I don't mind building the PC without the GPU until the new GPUs rolls out. 
Do not want to pay overpriced GPU!
