Hello,

I have a Win 10 Pro Lenovo W541 and am having a problem. No idea when this became a problem, but one day when I wanted to run command prompt, I did Win + R, and cmd, and what happened was that I saw a "regular" sized command prompt window show up, and the it dissapeared, followed by a smaller window, which dissapeared, all to happen within 1 second. I then tried to run powershell, where I came across another problem. This happened to be that "C:\Users\insertnamehere\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Windows PowerShell\ WindowsPowershell.lnk" is missing. However, I was still able to go to the Powershell.exe in the system32 folder and run it from there. So, two things: How do I fix the missing .lnk file, and then how do I get command prompt working again?

Feel free to post any questions or suggestions here...

Thanks!
