Access Point Issues

I recently bought a Netgear router to use as an access point. I followed this video and followed his instructions.  I worked for a month and the wifi just stopped working. Note that the internet works when plugged into the same router.  I use Att router/modem for the back side of the house and I made this access point for the second floor and the front of the house.  I reset the router but didn't reset the settings. I can't access the Netgear access point anymore without resetting the whole thing. I can do that but I rather not do that every month. I just want it to work with me not messing with it every month.
