So, I've built an HTPC to watch 4k blurays with as well as netfilx, etc.  I have installed Sound Blaster Z 1x PCIe card into a 16x PCIe slot on the mini itx board and I'm using the on board graphics hdmi 2.0 port for video out. The problem I'm having is that the sound card works fine..... for about an hour or just under and hour. After about 50mins the sound cuts out and then I have to go to creatives software suite and cycle between the dobly live button and the no encoder button and back to dolby live to get the sound back. Yep I've talked to creative and they seem to be at a loss. I'm talking with Gigabyte now and I'll probably send the sound card to them to play with and recreate the problem.

I've verified the sound card works.

Sound card seems to work flawlessly in an ATX board.

Running and i3-8100 on Z370 Gigabyte Mini ITX wifi board.

Bios has been updated.

Even had it in an Asrock Fatality Z270 with i3-7100 same problem.

I've played around with every bios setting I could think of on the above boards to try and get it to work.

I have a sound blaster z card in my ASUS ROG Maximus IX Extreme with an i7-7700k and it works fine.

Anyone ever seen something like this before or have any idea why this would happen?

Thanks
