Hola tengo una duda quiero saber que la laptop me recomendarian una asus GL502VM o una lenovo legion Y720

I'd go for lenovo only for that IPS display. Not sure which specs yours would have though.

Y720 is better. GL-VM has mediocre cooling and OKish build quality.

lenovo y720 porque tene 7700 CPU y asus tene 6700. ademas, la pantalla es IPS, muy bueno. en mi opnion, Lenovo es major que asus.

7700HQ and 6700HQ don't differ much in performance. Y720 uses entry level IPS while GL502VM uses good IPS with optional 120Hz and Gsync (which hurts battery life).

is 120hz worth it? i've never used 120, only 75hz

and gsync is $$$$

also didnt know that there are multiple ips types, rip

the 7700 would offer 5% max increase in performance on cpu loads right?

Yes

Yes, but not noticable in games

Yes due to poor cooling design and thin chassis. Also throttling and hot surface temps+high fan noise under load

Every brand has good and bad models. For Asus, only their high end ROG G/GX and Zenbooks are good.
