So I started buying parts for my first loop quiet a while ago, but had to pause the project for a couple months.

Now quiet a bit has changed and insted of the seperate pump and reservoir I bought back then, I would need a combo now (still with a 250-300mm res).

I can not use the included mounting hardware for the res since both of the adjacent walls are tempered glass.

Should I just screw the two together, relying on the extender and the hard tubing to keep it in place? (I'm not a big fan of that one)

I kind of don't want to spend another 150€ on a Singularity Computer or Bitspower Combo and it would be pretty hard to sell the res I already have where I live.

Any Ideas?

You can just use a male to male fitting to mount the res to the pump or to have it so the res is mounted onto a surface or area like a rad using the clips and a mounting adapter.

The res would be sitting directly ontop of the pump (which would be mounted on the bottom of the case with this) in any case. But the connection between case and pump as well as between pump and res via male to male fitting don't seem very sturdy to me, especially with a full 250mm res sitting on top of it.

It's not an issue as long as the system isn't being shifted or moved around a lot. For a more secure option as said you can mount the res elsewhere such as on a fan mount or rad as said and then to route the tubing over to the pump.
