concentrate ratios

so my x1 uv purple concentrate from mayehms has a mix ratio of 250ml to 1750ml. would  i experience any negative side effects if i added double the concentrate?

Your concentration is too low, with a 250mL bottle it should make a total of 1L so you add 750mL of distilled water. Being so low you run the risk of having growth occur in the loop.

TBH they normally way overshoot on the biocide in these things. I would be more concerned about not having enough corrosion inhibitors, but then again I ran pure distilled with a silver kill coil for like 3 year changing out the water every 8-12 months. I never ran into any issues with growth or corrision... so chances are even if it is much more diluted than it needs to be... he should still be fine

the bottle says 250ml with 1.75ltr. but would like to do that 250ml and 750 ml will i run into problems?

The biocides degrade as they age it would accelerate this problem of being too low, corrosion is also a good point.

Sorry you are correct the X1 version they have now can make 2L total so you can add 1750mL to the 250mL bottle of concentrate without any issues.

No that's not an issue, the coloring might be a little darker due to lower dilution.

thanks, i want it to be dark purple i gona put 350ml concentrate to 1L  im excited waited months for this build to be done thanks :))))
