Mouse can move but not click after power outage

So my power went out but quickly came back, and when my computer restarted, my mouse (Logitech G302) can move but not click. Ive tried different USB spots, and scanned for new drivers in device manager. I installed "SpeedyFixer" which I have the feeling is a sort of virus. Sadly it asked me to pay $6 to "fix all" problems, but thats a problem for later.

Any idea what I can do? I'm using a backup wireless mouse for now, which works in the meantime

I've tried the mouse on other computers, and it seems to work flawlessly. Any ideas?

Maybe the machine just needs a power cycle?

Uninstall it in device manager, unplug it, plug it back in.

Well seems as if it was a problem in the Logitech settings... I opened it up and re-assigned the left mouse button to "left click" and it works

there is no such software that can magically "fix all problems" - any software that makes such claims is very, VERY likely malware

This ^ Most such programs can do more harm than good.

Yea I was really doubtful, but I was so desperate for a fix, I did it. Nothing comes up when I googled it, so I didnt worry as much. MWB doesn't come up with anything though.

maybe the mouse got busted by the power outage or it just coincidently crapped out at exactly the same time that power outage happened.

 

if the mouse works fine on another computer then it could also be that some windows files got corrupted or something.
