Build for....Family member

Tea1337

So my sisters laptop broke and she threw a fit. Of course. So my parents gave me $600 to build her  a new computer, any left over I get to keep. So I came up with this build.

All she will do is play minecraft BTW.

Can I be your sister?

But seriously, get a X4 760k and a 7750. Also, get more RAM because apparently RAM determines FPS.

I will be over clocking the GPU on the apu, the ram will also be overclocked because she really doesn't need anymore than four for skype and minecraft.

The Newegg reviews for that PSU state that it only comes with a 20 pin power connector, making it useless for any motherboard in the last few years. Even without that fact, I'd probably get a better PSU.

Newegg has a $10 mail in rebate for the Corsair CX430M PSU, bringing it down to $39.99

You are forgetting a monitor, which would put him over budget. And I doubt she needs an SSD at all.

well if you want to increase profit on your end you could just stick with the stock heatsink and forget about overclocking if she is just playing minecraft, it will also make her system last longer.

also if you want to overclock that case doesn't look like it has the best airflow.

Be a nice brother and giver her 8gb RAM. Minecraft likes to use ALL the RAM. Also 8GB because you're using an APU. And it's more future proof even if she is only going to play Minecraft.

Just 8GB dude, it makes me cry seeing a build with that budget using 4GB of RAM.
